Re: Crocodile Rocks Build Thread
Back in May, our truck club did a track day at Anderson Motor Speedway. Its a small paved oval, but we set up cones and ran a slalom type road course on the track. Since I secured most of the club sponsors, I thought it would be fun to logo my truck up, NASCAR style with their names & logos and of course a big number 18 on the door. My truck did OK, but finished towards the bottom of the list. In my defense, I took it kind of easy since it was still a fresh build. I also ran the course properly, and its been questioned if some of the top drivers skipped a few cones or not. FYI - next year we'll be more serious about penalties!
Below are some pictures, and here's a link to the video from inside the cab if you want to ride with me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bACZFB4ZClQ

Re: Crocodile Rocks Build Thread
These two pictures show exactly what our truck club is about. Both are fathers who come to most of our events, and most of the time they bring their kids. The kids have a great time enjoying seeing the old (and new) trucks. They behave and are respectful and we see them as the future of our club and our hobby. We love when they join us!

Re: Crocodile Rocks Build Thread
In June we cruised as a group to Tommy's Pickup Parts and then New Creations. This has become a yearly event and it's a blast. My buddy Heath joined me which made taking pictures easier!

Re: Crocodile Rocks Build Thread
A few more rolling shots from my truck.
Beside New Creations is an old school drive-in theater. No one was there in the middle of the day, there was no chain keeping us out, and there wasn't a "No Trespassing" sign anywhere, so we seized the opportunity to take an awesome group photo.

Re: Crocodile Rocks Build Thread
One more picture of me & LowLion and I promise, I'll get back to the build...
Just yesterday UPS brought me some new parts! Champion Radiator and some Vintage Air components from Pro Performance. I'm hoping for some cooler weather so that I can spend some time in the garage!

Re: Crocodile Rocks Build Thread
Really, really cool build. I've referenced your PB picture chart a few times but never read through your entire thread. Very nice work. Love the color blue you are going with. That engine bay looks amazing!

Re: Crocodile Rocks Build Thread
Great Pix Matt!! Didn't realize I was in this thread,
Do you have pix of how the filler neck is set up for the gas tank? I can tell its a side enter tank, interested in how you have the filler neck (in the bed) set up if you have pix of that set up.
