Wo wo wo now just wait a minute guys. LOL.

Also went to the Bruins vs. Canadiens game back in February. Best game i've ever been to. 182 penalty minutes and even a golie fight well kinda.

So here you go. I've been spending to much time nit picking at things but have finally come tp the realization that these were trucks from the 60's and were meant to be trucks, not show pieces. So anyways got the bedsides all stripped and found out the mig gas tanks ere filled again and started filling in the bedsides. Post holes and front and rear caps on the rails. Also cut the latches off and filled in. Not to bad for self taught fabber.

Re: Project 67 C-10

also stripped the cab corners and back down so i could see if i'd find any gremlins under the skimcoating. from what i can tell it loks like any body work on the cab was originally done pretty good so not really worrying about it. I'll try to make Mondays my laundry/ update night LOL.

So are you keeping the hole in the outer cowl panel? I welded mine up, just something for some one to vandalize. I am going with an internal amplified antenna...I mostly stream Sirius XM from my phone anyway.

Re: Project 67 C-10

Somewhat reassembled the bed on the truck. thinking i'm gonna sandblast the rear cross sill and use that. repop one i got with the truck doesn't seem to fit all that great. Just not sure what to do with where the latches went through. it's where its doble wall and i matched one piece for now but if it were to make it double its nearly impossible to grind the weld down.

Thanks. Think i'm gonna put in another piece on the outside to make it full double wall. Just gona be a matter of cleaning up the weld.

Next big question. Roll Pan which i have or Bumper which I have but need brackets.

Re: Project 67 C-10

Then bumper it will be. LOL.
Worked on cutting the latches off the tailgate tonight. Then couldn't manage to find the trunions anywhere hence the clamps holding up the tailgate. Also the tailgates definately original. Originally eat up. So need to work on straightening it out again but think it should look half way decent when done. Need to come up with a small check strip hidden to just hold the tailgate straight when fillling the gas tank.Thinking i can weld a stud inside the lip and relieve the back edge of the tailgate and have a thin stainless coated wire loop. We shall see. Also should be starting on lineing up the front panels this weekend.

Picture doesn't do it justice. Its actually pretty bad the hood sits alot higher than the fender gap itself aint bad.

Re: Project 67 C-10

Well looks like i'll be getting a new hood now. sanded the paint off the front edge to find pinhole after pinhole. So I think 1" cowl is in order.

Re: Project 67 C-10

Ordered the new 2" cowl hood today. probably be a week and a half till i get it but can't wait. last weekend fixed tailgate. nothing like putting a few blocks under the corners and hoping on it to straiten it back. stil alot of dents but shouldnt be too bad when i get done. gonna try banging out back of cab this weekend. also i pretty much finished off the tailgate check straps. should be pretty clean. i'll posts some pics soon. and here are the wheels i was looking at 17x8 just need to find out the backspacing and center clearance.
