I wonder if you can use these with a different type of lug and not use the plastic lug covers.

im running these :
![]() behind my smoothies : ![]() they are just a little bit bigger then the bore of the wheel, but the flange is pulled tight between the wheel and the brake drum as the lugs are tightened down |

I’m running stockers up front. Out back running wheel vintiques series 12 15x8 smoothies with 4” backspace. I modified some VW hubcap clips and drilled/tapped the wheel to fit these to run a hubcap.

22" GM Transports
60 with 2-1/2" front spindles (torsions adjusted) and 4" drop springs in rear.
