I need to start making time.... or I will go crazy soon! LOL

Been too busy woorking on getting orders out the door, and finishing customer projects. We are a small operation and have been blessed with lots of work. Lots of work has meant NO time for MY toys. I have quite a few project trucks of my own... and some cool parts to put under them, just not any extra time right now! Hopefully that will begin to change here soon!

Re: Dropmembered trucks

haha, no they are not ford lights but they kinda do look like it though. we kinda nicknamed it the cha-ford and needless to say that he did not that nickname. the lights are from an isuzu trooper.

we are in the process of putting in some escalade headlights. you can see that we have removed the old lights in this shot i took a few weeks ago.

Thanks Keith. Now the scary part, cutting the frame out! Once you take it out, it don't go back in, so there is no turning back!

Oh well

Technically, you could put it back in w/some heat & wire.... but why would you want to??

Re: Dropmembered trucks

I was a little nervous to, I was hoping all the measurements were correct, but decided screw it and just hacked it out and threw the pieces in the recycling bin.

Re: Dropmembered trucks

I just went through the thread and let me say it's great to be a Member. Putting in a Dropmember does seem to inspire a lot of other things/ideas to happen. My truck has been apart for a year now. Like shaving the firewall, cleaning up the engine, etc. I went with the C4 front Dropmember, I re-working my rear notch for the C4 IRS. Now I'm installing trailing arms that I just got from Nate. I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It has been a lot of fun and I have learned a lot like how to weld.

Re: Dropmembered trucks

Hey Scoti i need some heat and wire now, I am missing some of my frame!!!!

After i cut the frame it moved about an 1/4" on both sides, but everything looks ok. I added all the other pieces and everything bolted up and fits nice. I'll let the doctor tell me if it's ok. calling doctor porter, doctor porter.... that was to funny!
