The maiden voyage did end so well
Tyler’s dad and I took it for its first trip - sheared down on it and the water pump shaft snapped about 5000rpm It got the radiator and dented the hood

I reluctantly sold my ‘68
It will be missed Built the truck 12 years ago I sold because it was needing a paint job and I just didn’t want to sink anymore money in it
