Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Makes sense to me. Sounds like a good idea. Also seems like something one of us KY or TN boys would come up with!

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

well; progress to the 67 is: tyler dented my tailgate down by the e or t under that area so i had to weld bolts (3) to the 3 dents on the tailgate ( JB WELD sucks! it broke off when i was tightening the nut) so finally got that big nasty dent at the top looking alot better, now it looks like tha farmer backed into a pole at about 6 miles an hour instead of 35 miles and hour LOL. and all the lights and stuff work once more. got the wiring plugged in for that and also got a inline fuse to attach to the spotlight wire and got that installed and working. so i will be logged in as tyler so i can picture when i go to his house tonight, we are going to take the rest of dents out of the tailgate.

Rick, I gotta admit, I'm jealous of your truck too! I can't even go look at mine right now! Do know how much that sucks! Then I keep running past the 72 in my neighborhood and drooling... I should really change my run route. Have a Merry Christmas Dude!

thank you jeremy nice to know people like it, i get talk from an individual who doesn't like it and dogs it but hey different strokes for different folks. i i have about a foot on both left and right sides of my truck and then a inch in front and 10 inches in the back. so i may get to see it but it stays in the garage all day and doesn't get worked on very hard. if i take it outside i may get kicked out of where i live they don't tolerate mechanics very well.

Ill try to get pictures of it soon but no promises. Thanks i hope i get the glass soon, i need to sand the window frame areas on the cab, to put the windows. In the front ill paint semi gloss black, and the back ill repaint with gloss white. So under the window rubbers are all nice and clean no surface rust.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

I just need a center one. One of those 67 bowtie belts. Any color would do, I'm gonna paint the latch part and dye the belts black. I think the latches were painted originally anyway weren't they? Like a silver?
