Re: 2 Projects 72 GMC “MISS REPRESENTED” and 68 Chevy “The Board Build”
I bought it 3 years ago and used it in the BB chassis the entire time. I cleaned it up and put the first light coat on it this weekend and didnt notice it was light is several places until I posted the pictures on the board.
Thank you Sir!

Re: 2 Projects 72 GMC “MISS REPRESENTED” and 68 Chevy “The Board Build”
I should add that I have been lurking around both of your builds since Ive became a member. I spend ALOT of time researching things others have done or are working on so as to not learn their mistakes myself. Thanks Tom! I agree. Please dont look around my garage. As you can see, its stuffed so I need a shop.

Try Northcutt trailer. Go north on I135 from Wichita and get off at the 54th St N. Exit. Go west on 54th to the first light and take a left. It's 1/2 mile or so down on the West side of the road. Very good guys working in the blast area and the service managers name is Larry. Awesome work and VERY good prices. Let me know if you need some further assistance. Mike

Re: 2 Projects 72 GMC “MISS REPRESENTED” and 68 Chevy “The Board Build”
I'll be out there this week. I'm having a friends frame blasted and some other stuff done too. I know you'll be happy with their heavy blasting. If you need small stuff or sheet metal done there is another guy I'd take that to, pm me if you need to get a cab or sheet metal done and I'll send you his name.

Good seeing you guys today before church! even though it was a short stay. I'll let you know when I drop off Nicks frame and parts (and your wheels) at the blaster. Thanks, it's been slow but it will be moving along shortly. The body of the orange truck is in paint jail currently.

Re: 2 Projects 72 GMC “MISS REPRESENTED” and 68 Chevy “The Board Build”
Well today I got a package from the mail lady!
I know secretly she hates me cause all the boxes, but that's ok. Anyway, Tom sent my cluster. I thought I did a good job doing mine but it pales in comparison to the tack dash he redid for me. Enjoy the pic!

Re: 2 Projects 72 GMC “MISS REPRESENTED” and 68 Chevy “The Board Build”
Sorry Tommy,
I had to pick up the orange truck after 6 weeks with the body shop and they did absolutely nothing. I went an loaded it all up in front of him, shook his hand and thanked him for everything. I had nothing else to say to him so I prayed for him that night! Tomorrow I'll be removing the brand new springs and changing them out in the orange truck suspension from stock to a 3-5 drop. I'll get some pics then and promise a lot of progress coming in the next few weeks. I'm going to talk to another guy about paint this week, wish me luck. Did you find a suburban frame yet?

Hey Mike... I would tell you maybe talk to Chris... I know he has been real slow on my truck but something as easy as what you have going may be something he can bang right out...

thanks Dan! They do great workout they have a lot of cars in front of this supposedly "flip truck" I wanted to do. I'm calling the other guy I was turned on to today and see if he's in or not. If not I guess I'll break out the welder and Change the incorrect cab corners myself.

Try C. Hoberecht for Customs out by Goddard. Tell him Chip sent you. He's my cousin- got his start workin' for Devlin. Metal, Paint, all of it. He does nice work. 316-516-3827.
Or Lonny Moore on n. 61st (my old 'Hood) 316-744-1151 They do lots of hot rod stuff. Good Luck! Been hearing good things about Kansas Dry Stripping in Derby for tender stuff.
