Re: 68 S/C update.....

what size are youre hoosiers... actually front and rear sizes would be great. Mine are 31's and I was thinking they looked a bit too tall so I figured I may try 29's after they wear out.

The rears are 29 x 15.5 x 15 (15 x 12 wheel with 6" backspacing). The fronts are 225 75 15's (15 x 5 wheel).

I picked up this nice AM/FM radio but I'm not sure if I want to put it in this truck or the Burb (or the CrewCab, ).....

I wasn't able to get over there this weekend to tape it for him and he was putting spindles on the truck so it was out of commission as well.

Re: 68 S/C update.....

Hart Rod, I may be partial because I have a '68, but there is something 'bout your truck that really does it for me - I love it ! Maybe it is the stock look, but with the power to run ? I really believe the 67-68's were a work of art from the factory, with little changes needed to have a great truck.

Thanks Seafoam, I agree the 67/68 look is really hard to beat. Check out the new "stance", now it looks like a hotrod again....... Here's a picture of my "custom" cupholder that I added to my buddy buckets.

This things is really badass, man. After watching the thread on this for the past few months I really think I'll go a similar direction when I get to redoing my '68 when I get done with school (whenever that day finally comes .)

I was wondering, what are the exact specs on the drop now?

I picked the cupholder up at a boat place when I was getting the marine fuel filler for the rear. It worked perfect and only $13!
