Re: License/Vanity Plates Contest!

This thread gave me some cool idea's for my wife's plate on her Corvette

CNTSLDN - can't slow down
H8TRFIC - hate traffic
028tb4u - zero to 80 before you
TRYPASN - try passin
QWIKHUH - quick huh
SPOILED - SPOILED it's actually available
HOUPSL8 - Houps late

I'm going to register her car tomorrow morning, I'll let you know what we deceide....

One I want to get on my truck but may cause a little violence is......

Re: License/Vanity Plates Contest!

My Norwegian plate is "L-7169" as L-71 is Special High Performance 427 and 69 is the production year 69. Actually it has an inline six but don't tell

Re: License/Vanity Plates Contest!

This is just what I been mulling over for the past 6 years.

The one I had on my last show car.

another one that would be like that.

Here are some of the ones I been debaiting for the day I get the plates on the longhorn.

Haven't decided on what one to do but it will be on a 71 gmc longhorn 4x4 conversion. Oregon only allows 6 letters and 1 half space.

One of our drillers has RKDRLR (rock driller) on his CJ5. He got it before I did, pisses me off. A girl I know has IFLI on her mustang. My boss has 7272 on his 72.

Good one Jay, I like the "HND MAD" oregon only allows 6.5 letters so it would have to look like that.

Re: License/Vanity Plates Contest!

I use to have plates that read "PT5REP"...Ok here was my logic although a little warped. I was a Sales Rep and if the #1 Rep was better than the #2 Rep...then the .5 Rep was better than the #1 Rep.

Re: License/Vanity Plates Contest!

My favorite growing up was always "2FAST4U" and I've also always liked "UDLOSE" but that's an interested way of spelling it on I think page 2, the black car with "UD LOOSE". That one's a bit off.

5.32 @ 131.6 mph 1/8 mile w/ a 1.25 60' Fogger/Plate 2003

Best pass with the street 406 hydraulic roller motor w/ mild plate tuneup
5.93 @ 114 mph 1/8 mile w/ a 1.29 60' 2003 or 2004

Re: License/Vanity Plates Contest!

We are restricted to only 6 digits here in Saskatchewan and I've been trying to make something work for the last couple of years and everything I come up with needs 7 digits to make sense. This year they started the "G" series of plates so I called the DMV and asked if they had issued GDB 777 yet
( because GDB are my initials, and I have the 777 prefix on every truck ,trailer, and motorcycle we own) and they told me yes and where it was at, a small town only 8 miles from home. So I called the issuer and when he said he had it I drove right out and got it. Its my personalized plate and it didn't cost the extra 80.00 they charge for vanity plates.

I did not read all the posts, so I hope this one was not posted allready. ETA-B4U

or PUFIVEFIVEY I spelled out the FIVEFIVE part of it, but you would actually use 55. It looks to much like SS and at a glance.

Re: License/Vanity Plates Contest!

i saw a new black vet at the chevy house parts door last weekend that drove up as i was walking out with

"muv ovr", here in TX we have to have a front plate too, so it kinda made sence.

wonder why she, yes it was a she driving, was doing at the parts door. Maybe a new air freshiner.
