Actually I do all my own work, certified welder, used to do iron work til the economy took a dive. Now I manage the Midas Auto Service in Lodi. Still might get ahold of you for some help, thanks I appreciate that. Hey what would you charge to install a cnotch like you have?

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Is there anyone out there can help me out with my dilemma. I have a '85 GMC SWB. 2WD that I'm currently restoring. I want to do a static drop on my truck. The wheels that I'm gonna run are a 24x9 with a 255/30/24 in the front and a 24x15 with a 405/25/24 in the rear. I don't want to bag my truck. Can some please help a brother out?

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Bigsmitty75:
R u going to have room to run a 15" wide rear wheel and not narrow the frame? If u don't have to narrow the rear frame: Just do a flip rear kit (5-7" drop) and 3" spindles and 2" coils for the front. If u do have to narrow the rear frame: it sounds like u r in over ur head, find a shop close to u and pay them to do it... Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
I am going to narrow my rear end in order to accommodate the 24x15 rim in the rear.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Great thread, I called and ordered a 4.5 and 6 drop kit this morning and then put it on hold thinking I need a 5.5 and 7 to go with my 20x8.5 255/40r20 and 20x10 295/40r20. I have looked at a lot of trucks with the same size drops and wheels but the stance looks differant. Can anyone explain this or tell me if I am going to have a problem with the setup I am planning on putting togather? Thanks
