B, a 4wd shroud is longer, that might work if you could find one.

Woody, the fan doesn't line up, so I don't think it would matter. A buddy if mine gave me a dual fan setup, I think I can make it work.

Re: Project Patina Burb
Decided to tackle taking off the tint on two of my windows today. The two front windows are out of it, the third door window and the fourth window are still in it, and the back windows are out of it also.
It was pretty time consuming, especially for a guy with no patience, but it came off. I think the two windows that are in the burb will be much easier because I won't have to hold the glass up. You need three hands to do it that way. I then hit both windows with a little Goo Gone and spread it around and I'm letting it sit on them for a while.

Re: Project Patina Burb
just knocked out the third door window and smeared it with Goo Gone. It was much easier because it's installed. The little side window gave more fight.

Re: Project Patina Burb
There's something on the front windows on the outside that I can't get off. It's specks of something. Obviously, I tried the Goo Gone and also paint thinner. I don't know what it is. I guess I'll go to the store and get some brand new razors for my scraper.
I also shot some more blue inside the burb to cover up the blueish/purple the PO sprayed it with. Looks good so far.

Re: Project Patina Burb
I'm almost done shooting all of the interior with that blue. Only thing left is the third door. I got the dash pad installed and placed the second row seat in just to see what it would look like. I've also decided to go with a front bench seat instead of the 99-06 buckets. My wife and I just thought it would look better and go with the theme of the burb. I know those buckets will be very comfortable, but will sacrafice for a little better style.
I now feel like a complete tool because I got rid of the 2nd row and the front bench when I bought it. I've already had to purchase another 2nd row and now will have to find a decent front bench.

Re: Project Patina Burb
Bryan, is the front Suburban bench seat the same as the truck bench seat? Just curious - I don't have any spare seats lying around...

Re: Project Patina Burb
Bought a 71 plate off eBay tonight. It's the yellow one on the left. Not sure what I'll do with the other ones. Don't have much use for them. There is a 71 dealer tag in the bunch.
