My dad's 86 K10 Silverado. He bought it from a friend to use as a backup truck in his snow removal fleet. Luckily it has only seen snow a handful of times, but it's enough for some rust to start poking through. I looked at the build sheet in the glove box recently and found out it was special ordered with 3.08 gears, which explains why the transmission would overheat a little when we plowed with it. So it is now retired as a snow removal truck and currently my daily driver. Also has an unoriginal 350 and TH400 instead of the 305/700r4 setup.

Hey guys I'm new to this whole posting thing and also new to the driving world... For this Christmas (15th year) I got my first vehicle-a 1980 Chevy C10, 350, long bed, 465 4 speed/205 transfer case... Silver/gray paint... Here is my 82. I got it from my Dad this spring. It is finally in the paint shop for bodywork and paint. I'm removing the drip rails and C10 logos, adding a chrome tailgate name panel and maybe adding a white pinstripe. I'm staying with the blue and white (still trying to figure out what the blue colour is). The body side mouldings may be changed to newer versions of the same or else the chrome Silverado ones. Wheel arch trims may or may not be replaced/reinstalled. Seeing all the other units on this thread as well as the previous one is helping me with some of my decisions.

Not really new, been lurking for a for a while, but finally had a reason for a first post.
Just ordered a Belltech 3/4 drop kit. Can't wait to get this truck a little closer to the pavement. Good thing there's 7-9 months of winter left!!!!!!!!
