I just picked up my '65 from Painless a few weeks ago. They used it to build the new 64-66 swb harness.

I've been seeing updates occasionally on IG. I guess it's about time I join the party. I may be late, but I'll be watching just as intently as the rest.

Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build...havent got a catchy name yet !

Ok, I have been slacking on the progress but right now I have spent most of the time gathering parts. I did however get a chance to buy my first car hauler trailer and like everything else I buy it is a little bit of a "Fixer upper....." lol.

We started by replacing the fenders with some heavy duty fenders and I decided to go ahead and make the drivers side removable....so a fat guy can get out of the cab once he puts it on the trailer !

Next was rear floor repair (I think they tried to load an ARMY Tank on it before) And then some gate doors to keep the ramps in and a heavy duty jack repositioned a little further forward

We also added a new storage box up front, and test polished a piece....I think we are going to go all out and polish up all the diamond plate , repaint the whole trailer and paint the wheels silver

Well I went to Harbor Freight for a couple step bits yesterday.......and left with a 12,000 pound winch on sale for $299 so that install is coming up also ! LOL

Along with a custom made winch cover (I have been dying to try out a couple new dies I bought for Gary's bead roller) ....stay tuned !

trailer looks beefy... and the winch looks like you can load that army tank. good to see you are fixing it up to haul those beautiful trucks you build.

friendly reminder, head east this saturday after work...

We also dropped off our 6.0 with Wes White at Injected Customs for HUGE HP increase .....which I believe led to a name for this build "Boosted Bertha" !

We also toured the Compton Custom Interiors shop that will be doing the interior build on this project , It was a good day !
