Re: Lets see your truck!

Heres my grandfather's 1927 Chevrolet pickup truck. It is an older restoration but done very good. He has owned the truck for probably 20 years now and hasent drove it more than 50 miles. It usually sits in a nice barn with a cover over it. Also a old sedan and coupe he use to have but sold many years ago

Here's Tim's 1940 Chevy truck.
I built the chassis for it.(I do lots of early Ford stuff)
I like the way it is turning out..

Here, I tried to fix it for you. That's going to be a great looking truck! I love the body as is, no paint or bodywork, but the truck has a killer stance and look!

Nothing better than 2 burbs in the garage or thats what I tell my wife.
235 full pressure 3 speed and a 55 car rr end..all NEWLY rebuilt. The undercarraige is nicer than the topside. Wood strip truck floor, dropped axle. Chrome reverse and bridgestones. Nice driver and shower.

Nice '46 Sub Newfisher! I saw your post over in the 60-66 section as well.
I followed your '65 SWB build over there and really liked that ride. Sorry to see it gone but I'm sure you'll find another one soon huh? good luck in your search for a 4x4 60-66 Sub.

Re: Lets see your truck!

Mustang 2 front end with 2" dropped spindles, SBC, Turbo 350 trans. Narrowed 69 Mustang 9 inch rear. 20" American racing torque thrust 2 wheels, mini tubs in bed. Oak bed wood tinted red like truck with many coats of automotive clear. Shaved door handles. About to install the actuators with remote to pop the doors open, finish putting in new windshield glass. Also working on making the windshield swing out with an electric actuator since I don't have a rebuild-able crank mechanism.

Re: Lets see your truck!

Are you referring to the 2nd picture? That is the after when I two toned the cab and painted it a BMW M3 color. It is a Charcoal Metallic. The top of the hood is the same color as well. As far as I know they don't repop them at all for this body style.

I bet the two-tone changes the entire look of the truck once it's fully assembled.

Re: Lets see your truck!

Mostly complete now. Painting the two tone completely changed the look of the truck.
