Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

haha i know..... lol me and my dad started thinking..... why would all the bow ties in 67 and 68 be red..... but the glove box emblem and custom camper emblems be blue??? so we said, how about everything just stays red... if it was a 69 72 then they would have stayed blue.... but even then 69 72 didnt have these emblems so long story we painted it red lol

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

yeah i wish i knew... i love chevy but i guess everyone has there flaws... oh well thats why we are here to correct them 45 years later yes to put pictures up you go to make a reply. after the window pops up with the text ready for you to type, you put at least 2 characters in the text then you scroll down and look, you will find a button that says "manage attatchments" click that and a window will pop up saying "browse" click browse and find the picture ou want from your desktop or pictures and click it. you can do 5 at a time. once you get the pictures you want click upload, let it load and as soon as its all loaded exit out of the window and click send on the post reply and your done! good luck!

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

I'm from 66,67,68,69 and I don't know why. And I don't know anyone who does, either. I also don't know why Rick didn't paint his grille bowtie blue to match the Custom Camper and glove box door badges

Nice truck Sicklajoie, mine are 275-70/16 "H" speed rated. Turned my stiff bronc horse into a handling g -truck. Really suprises alot of people, even a bud with a 427 '69 vette.

I am also running 285-75/16 (10 ply)on the back on longer trips with the camper but I am finding they are fighting with the fronts.

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

Beautiful trucks. I hope someday I can restore an old camper to slide in the back of my C20.

it is a great feeling, I was lucky enough to have mine given to me from a co-worker. No restoration needed, just load and go !

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

Wow, that is truely a gift right there. Love the truck too! I am in process of replacing 16.5's with AR23's with 275 70 16s. Was telling Sicklajoie earlier that I want to go 2 tone dark olive and white next paint job. Classic look!

Sounds like mine may have a half brother in the future. When I bought mine in the 1980's it had 16.5x10 steel Kelsey-Hayes with 10.00-16.5 Goodyears on it. Big improvement since then!

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

Here's a nice one on Ebay. Looks like my truck's baby brother. I like the white top.
