Re: For your viewing pleasure

I think it's kind of expected to ask questions regarding the show guys, but just realize that a) you are kinda taking the thread off-topic and b) he might not want to talk about that kinda stuff

It may not be my place to say this, but it was something that just crossed my mind Giving the guy props is one thing (he deserves it) but hounding him with personal questions and talking about the show is ... I dunno, could be a little weird.

Just my 2¢

Re: For your viewing pleasure

I left the show for a couple of reasons The main one I had to get back with the family. The other ones I will just leave alone.

But anyway Captkaos is right I was a bit worried about the engine being to high. I think it will be alright now.

70c10 I'm right off of Centergrove rd. Now the engine is in the mounts are tacked up

The Gear Vendors gets put on in the morning. I'll finish up the mounts and start on the headers I plan on doing a mid lenght header. After that the rear end gets the 4-Bar. Then all of the bracing starts.

Re: For your viewing pleasure

That's a snazzy looking tranny mount.

How is the weight distribution for the engine over the crossmember? Roughly the same as stock, or ??

Re: For your viewing pleasure

The engine is set back about 4" so I really don't know yet. When I get it done I'll scale it. I'll mount the cab in a couple of days. That should be fun making all the mounts.

Yeah, real fun. I envy you not...
Are you going to set them lower on the frame? (pending any clearance issues, but nothing a torch won't fix )

Re: For your viewing pleasure

I just found this thread tonight.....couldn't believe it was Lou. Ian showed up on OFN a while back, and now here's Lou. Welcome to the board Lou! I'm with everyone else....Muscle Car won't be the same without you. I get the feeling something's up with Trucks too since all they're showing is re-runs. I was hoping to see that '66 get done. And now Jessi's leaving....looks like Powerblock is going down the sh***er.

Anyway this looks like a really cool build Lou. And as usual some cool fab work too. I'll be subscribing so I don't miss anything.

Yea it was late and i was at work

I dont know though i still think its a reasonable question. The bodies are different from 67-72. Right!!! I personally like the 67 & 68 body style over the the later models. So let me Re-Phrase the question LOU what year body are you putting on this frame?

Yeah the 67-72 vary some, but the picture I links from his original post is a 73-78 (looks to be a 1976 to me)

See if that is true. This Thread is even more interesting to me because i am getting things together to get my 75 Blazer converted and bagged.

I didnt even see that ScotI asked this same question just before i did. Cool at least i am not the only one curious about the year.
