Re: my first c10 custom

I'm diggin' the Nova! I've worked over a few of those, and yes, you HAVE to narrow the rear end to get any kind of tire under them. A 7" wheel is almost too wide in stock form. In reality, they never made a Nova in any year that could fit a decent tire underneath in stock form. I owned a '67 Nova back in the day and it barely fit a 7" rally and a 225/60-15 tire. I fixed that........

You are amassing quite a collection between the cars and trucks. I see a larger building in your future.

I don't understand the problem. You should be able to fit any tire on any nova, just jack it up a bit...

Crystal pier is sweet man, those little houses on the pier look like fun. We use to fish off that pier. I might hook up a car trailer and come over in Nov. For Goodguys sounds like a blast.

Marked it on my calendar with a Sharpie! BTW I am not bringing any money in order to prevent myself from taking one of your partygoers trucks home...again.

I thought someone on the forum in Phoenix owned a Mexican Restaurant?....I think we need it catered this time!

Re: my first c10 custom

I use live in Mesa arizona and I got to experience back in 1995 120-122* weather it was not nice at all I am not kidding. I had a Black car w/ black limo tint all the way around did not help it that day. I remember on hot summer days the streets being Lonely and Malls being crowded. I don't miss that all.

My thermo on the back fence indicated 108°F here in DFW w/our 'mild' 60+% humidity. At least your heat is dry..... (isn't that what they say??) . We're currently @ 82°F/62% humidity.
