I was going to order a new front bumper from Brothers, anyone have any comments on fitiment, quality, etc? Any other brand you would suggest?

Here are a few pictures of where I am at. Pulled the LS1 and basically recouped my money. Ordered a brand new LS376 / 480 last week. Hopefully it'll be here for christmas if I'm lucky. Still got a lot of work to do, but at least it looks like a truck again.

Thanks, hopefully it'll run strong. I figure with 480 HP and being quite lite it will. Might have to hang some lead off the back bumper!

That's gonna be a sick ride. What are your plans for tail lights? My truck also has a shaved rear end with inset bullet style tail lights. It was done by the previous owner, and I'm not a huge fan of them and want to find something different.

I'll definately watch this build with interest as I just commited to a GMPP LS3/480hp as well today.

Need to pick up a few more bolts for connecting the converter to the flex plate. Does any recommend using lock washers, or just loctite? Also, any suggestions for converter fluid? Thanks

Motor fits very well. Installed converter then dropped in the motor. Once all the bolts were nice and snug I went to go bolt up the converter to the flex plate. When I checked it out it had perfect clearance, about a 1/16". Hopefully I can get some headers picked out soon. I will be ordering the Concept One accessory set, and a computer from Speartech very soon.

Any word on the Doug Thorley "big tube" headers. From what I've read I should try to run at least a 1 & 5/8" header.

Dudee... SICK truck! I like everything you've done so far. What are you gonna do for brakes and booster? That firewall looks too clean to mount anything on!

Skoffice - I'm running an under dash set-up, purchased from Scott's Hotrods. It's a really solid piece and I highly recommend.

I am about to start ordering brake components and was hoping for a little input as to proportioning valve, fittings, etc.

I have a 7" booster and CPP master cylinder under the dash, break like bulkhead with -3 inlets, wilwood calipers in rear that have 1/8"-27 NPT inlets, and will be ordering wilwood D52's for up front.

I would like to run all hard lines with four braided houses at each corner. Is Stainless pliable? What fitting and flares? Anyone have any suggestions from experience?
