Agreed. My buddy did a really nice job with this one. And at highway speed, there is very little wind or road noise. The original weather strips and seals are tight.

I drove a '51 Buick for a few years (daily driver). That was a sweet highway machine. The straight 8 was very smooth.

I drove it from Houston to Detroit and back. Went to Mexico in it. Drove it to Colorado and went skiing.

It was a great car. Gave me no troubles.

Thanks Kees! No more bat droppings and I am sure they moved to one of the barns around here.

Bigdav, that sounds like a great Buick! I’ve wanted a 48 - 52 for years.

GSP7, the hood is in my buddy’s shop.

Still enjoying the additional space!
