Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!
I'm going to order everything for the cooling system Thursday. I'll post pics of what we decide on. Here are some pics of the exhaust, the mufflers should be here Friday along with the rear disc brake kit. DeWayne

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!
NIce straight exhaust, mine looks like a very badly bent noodle to get around all the 4wd stuff.

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!
Clearly you are a pro and your work is amazing so don't take this the wrong way, but why arn't you running flex joints in the exhaust at the down pipes? Every exhaust guy I have ever talked with said a solid exhaust puts stress on
the header welds when the engine torques combined with the weight and length of pipes hanging off the system you will always get cracks in the welds. I always wanted a clean look but avoided it because of this, what are you going to do to avoid the cracks and failure with a solid exhaust? -Joel |

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!
Thanks! I discussed this with the owner of the truck and this is what he wanted, a smooth very clean look. I finished the detail work on the cab last night, so we're ready to bolt it back on the frame this week. I've made alot of progress on the "other truck" so I will start a build thread when this truck is finished. DeWayne

The wheels that are on it. The owners wanting to keep it old school. DeWayne

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!
Is this project done on a time and material or a contracted price?

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!
A small update. I will try to post a video of the truck running in a couple of days. We started it yesterday but didn't let it run long. Still have a few things to finish up. Its been a mad house with everything going on so here are couple of pics of whats going on in the shop. DeWayne

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!
I see a "HushPower" muffler on the floor. How do you like those and how would they compare to the regular 50 series? Quieter, Louder?
Excellent work!
