Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
Alright... You talked me into it!
After i did some research, I found that the Boyds will actually fit my custom S10 Blazer that I also have... So I think I might keep them for that now!

Got a little more update! grille and smoothie bumper are on. Looks great tome me, but I feel like something is missing some pizzaz. Maybe its just the big ugly wheels/tires. IDK What do you guys think?!?!

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
Hey, been reading up. Lookin good. Like the rim idea, those'll look killer. How about blacking out the headlamp buckets, making the grill and headlamps stand out?

Im not too sure about the blacked out headlight buckets. I guess I could try it on these and see how I like it. If not, get some new ones or have them rechromed

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
I have also found the definite wheel that will be going on the truck. Its the Intro Speedstar.
Going to be 18x8 in the front and 20x9.5 in the rear(might talk to Intro and see if I can get them to make a 10"wide for the rear). It will have the stepped lip, and custom backspaces to get as much dish as I can in the rear... I love these mainly because I love the Cragar S/S, and these have a very similar taste to them, just a little more on the custom side of things though

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
He sure is doing a slick job ,when do you get home to touch it? I'm up in the air about grill surround on mine also. I'm thinking of painting strips of masking tape to put on it to see if I like the look of the color.

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius
The Fesler Billet taillight lenses and rear bumper made it on the truck today!
I really need to get home and get my Intros ordered Ok, I have a question for you guys that are following this build. I really want to get extreme on the amount of lip that I have in the rear. I know I can narrow my rear end to allow for a smaller backspace. Any thoughts on this?
