I'm 46 (I think?) and got my 69 C 10 from my grandfather when I was 18, my mother and I were with him when he bought it new in 1970, Mom drove him to the car lot and took me, 8 years old at the time (I think?) with her. I still remember the ride home with my grandfather smiling all the way in his brand new truck! He lost his sight enough that he couldnt drive anymore and gave it to me. It still has the original engine and I drive it almost every day. My kids are already fighting over who gets it when I bite it. It used to be green
 I just bought this 72 GMC four wheel Drive a few months ago. It's getting some paint soon.

I purchased my first truck, a 1970 Longhorn, at age 15. I've always had atleast one 67-72, and I'm 28 now.

I had my 67 when I was 17 and sold it at 20. Bought my 69 2 years ago at 32.
But I grew up in a 69 that my uncle bought new. It was sold to my dad in 75 (the year I was born) and was taken to the farm in the late 80's. We still have the "Green Machine"

i was 15 or 16 when i bought my 72 picked her up for $250 and started tearin into if for a resto im 19 now and i just picked up another 72 parts truck a couple months ago

Got a '72 when I was 18, sold it at 20. Got my 67 at 31, still have it, got my 67 GMC when I was 46, still have it. I'm 50.
