looking good.i know what you have went through doing this cab sheet metal work i restored a 66 truck back in 1994 and most of the repair panels were not available then and had to be made from scratch including the inner rocker panels.looks like you have done a fine job.

That must have been fun, I had to make my own share of patches, I made both inner rockers and the RH floor patch, as well as the corners of the knee knocker cab below the windshield, also made several patches for the hood, Its been a long road..I hope it lasts another 49 years after all this !

Good to see you back ....it's been almost a year.

Do you have a part number for those headers? How far down do they hang underneath?

Yeah went back to work full time and the hiurs are long on top of a long commute, but I had a few days off and got back to the 62 !

The headers are summit long tubes for a 67 camaro , they were 239 $ as I recall, they dont hang too low and for a stock truck like mine plenty of clearance, I can get the part # if you want in a few

Re: My 1962 C10 Build Thread "Grandpa's Truck "

Been a while but still working on the 62, been going slow but..the vintage air ac is in and the upper intake is powder costed as well as all accy brackets and pulleys, I get a deal thru work so its better than me cleaning and using a rattle can, cleaning up the engine bay as I go till I blow the body apart and the front clip comes off for paint
