Re: thinking about getting this in the morning
That B-pillar drain, I never knew it was there. Where does it drain from? The top seal? I think your PO added the spray foam. I had to dig in the inner cab a little recently on my 85 and it had a sticky tar-like something or other on the backsides of the metal in there.

Re: thinking about getting this in the morning
funny i went to install the side steps i picked up and found all the holes predrilled in all the exact locations seems the PO must have had the same steps installed at one point we sprayed bedliner to the underside of the body and up in the fender wells before we wet sand today so any overspray will get taken care of at the same time starting to look good I'm digging it! not sure why some pics get turned sideways they were straight when i attached them?

Re: thinking about getting this in the morning
thanks guys, everyone loves recognition from their piers
i was very nervous going with yellow, I have never had a yellow vehicle before so it was hard for me to pull the trigger with such a different color choice sometimes you just need to move away from your comfort zone i suppose!

Re: thinking about getting this in the morning
It doesn't look like an open diff....maybe a limited slip of some sort??
Look in your glove box RPO code, G80 in there? Limited slip.

Re: thinking about getting this in the morning
I put in 4.10's with my 33's and I found that to be perfect. Nice and quick, but decent at highway speeds too. Good choice. What brand name of gears are you going with?
Also, be sure to replace your front axle u-joints too (or are you getting all new shafts?) Spicer is a decent one. I tried the adjustable sleeves in ball joints but the only problem is getting the proper torque setting. Depending where you need the angle, your torque will be tighter or looser than spec. Is an alignment shop doing or you?

Re: thinking about getting this in the morning
Nice job and good to get a new set of nuts, there. A lot of times someone doesn't install properly and end off shaving the little nub on one of the nuts. Place first nut on with nub facing out, torque properly (not very tight). Place locking ring in being sure it engages with the nub. I loosen if the nub doesn't align perfectly.
Then the non-nub nut goes on torqued around 150 ft-lbs to lock it all into place. I've been wanting to upgrade to those hubs....mine came with the cheaper ones from Warn. Let me know how they work and look! So, was it a limited slip or open diff?

Re: thinking about getting this in the morning
Have you driven it yet? Tightness in steering? How is the power now with 4.10's?
