Some very minor rust bubbles, no rust thru anywhere. Sold for $13,500 after starting the bid at $5,000.

The white '78 Pontiac Trans-am with 400 V8-4BBL, floor shift console 350Th, bucket seats, A/C, P/S, P/B, head liner needed replaced as it was hanging down. Buckets were tan vinyl with NO rips or tears. 45,000 miles, one owner. Some pretty steady bidding and final bid was $23,500.

Didn't get a lot of pics but both started right up and engines sounded good at idle, very smooth running.
That truck is sharp! And I like the "anti-bandit" too.

Super nice LTD pulled up aside me at the gas station as I was readying to leave. Owner was elderly and may have been the original owner. I regret not chatting with him.

Re: Vintage vehicles driving around. See one post it up.

Love seeing the pics of vintage classic iron still rolling along and doing it's duty in this thread.

Seen this ol' gal this morning at a independent local used car lot. Stopped and talked to the owner as have known him for several years. Said an older fellow traded it in last week, forgot to ask him what he traded for. It's a 1960 Chrysler Saratoga, 383, 4BBL, dash mounted push button A/T. An older restoration with some carpet wear and bit of fading to the seats. Should have got pics of the interior but didn't think to do such. Dealer said a few minor things to tend to and then will go on the sale lot.

That's a looker right there. At first glance I thought it was an Imperial.

Very similar altho the Imperial had many more stylish options and trim. My Dad was a BIG Chrysler fan and I remember we had a '57 Chrysler Crown Imperial. Dark green with a lighter green/cream colored interior. That thing was huge! Four door body, simulated spare tire mount on the trunk lid, gold toned anodized trim similar as GM used on the '57 Bel Air. Riding in that was like sitting on a living room sofa in motion, LOL. I do recall the doors were really heavy as I closed a rear door on my fingers once. Boy, did I do some wild dance steps then for sure,

One of the nicest/most favorite cars I've seen. I happened to be in germany to see it. Toured ferrari manufacture plant in italy, they even restore vintage ferarri, but I like this volvo 1800ES best of the trip, which was in monchengladbach

Spied this Cornbinder again in St John's today. It has the service boxes that replace the fenders on a step side. I see it regularly the driver never wave back.

Re: Vintage vehicles driving around. See one post it up.

Seen these three while in NW Alabama visiting my son and his wife with our new little Grand Daughter fresh off the assembly line, LOL What a little cutie she is.

The 66 Chevelle SS and the 40s (?) Buick seemed like they may have been traveling together. Was near Tonkawa, Oklahoma, maybe going to or coming back from local car show? The 30s pickup was across the street from the Alabama gas station where I was filling up for the return trip home.

All three were nice looking rides, not sure what year the pickup is and who produced it. A bit before my time.
