Re: My 1968 C-20 Golden Anniversary Project
Fuel-,oil pump and cylinder heads
The small plastic bushing in my opinion don't needed if you have an oil pump shaft with a guide (both in picture 1). Copper oil pump gasket SUM-111480, in my opinion normally not needed, but can't hurt.

Preparing rockers, pushrods etc.
Despite I ordered the same part number EPR 34B (8 pcs. each) twice I received two different lengths pushrods=== TIME DELAY!!! Lesson learned: Always order one complete set. Right length 7.794“ Wrong lenght: 8.544“ Time for preparing accessoiries.

Last entry from 10-18-2020, 04:56 PM , was completly frustrated, because of the not matching valve timings (tested with Summit Degree Wheel), after studing and learning alot now new hope, start soon.

I knew this was going to happen I gave, made, sold many parts to Gerhard and tried to give him a lot of common sense advice but being a German engineer he was determined to complicate the living dung out of everything. I always wondered if he'd frustrate himself into packing it in which looks like finally happened - so sorry , too bad Jerry in Canada |

Noooo! Say it isn’t so. Call it temporary, leave the door open just in case another truck happens to cross your path.

Re: My 1968 C-20 Golden Anniversary Project
Oh man, hadn't seen this build before, was just getting into it. I've never seen such detailed care taken in engine assembly. Good luck Gerhard. Sorry to hear that you sold it, but sometimes that has to happen. Hope to see you back. It looks like you got it all together. How did it run?
