Re: progress pictures
Mike, If you don't mind me asking, what kinda $$ did you have to give up for the seats?
Also, Truck is gonna be beautiful....looks like you have an eye for detail. Engine looks so good I'm trying to figure a way to paint my valve covers in such a sanitary way.

Re: progress pictures
68 short step, don't know how well the brakes actuallty perform on this truck, haven't drivi'n the truck, plan on changing to a polished WILWOOD master cylinder in the future.but i will let you know how this set works in the very near future. SatcoJim , i got a great deal on these seats , good friend runs the junk yard. he said the seats would normally run about $350-$400 , i was supposed to pay $150 but ended trading them out on some labor on his tractor. the seats are the same as the ford explorer and mercury mariner from about '02 and up , and if you use the front inner mount with seats (they unbolt from seat and also unbolt from the floor)you can basiclly drill some holes and bolt them in . i'll post some pics once i get the installed.

Re: progress pictures
68 short step , she sounds great but it is loud ,67FLEET the mufflers are polished magnaflows , the exaust exits right behind the cab , but i will run it over the axle and behind rear tires. i still might move the mufflers under the bed , i'll wait till the bed is painted and back on. the wheels are BOYD CODDINGTON'S , there 18"x8" in the front and 20"x10" in the rear. 6T6GMC, the fuel cell is an RCI or WISECO not sure , got it from DJRACER. it fits like it was made for it though. krue , your more than welcome to stop by , just pm or email me the next time your headed this way and i'llget you a number and some directions.

Re: progress pictures
Super nice truck Mike! I got to catch a peek of it in person when I came up to Wetumpka to get some stuff from Kevin. Excellent work on the paint...maybe I can drag my stuff up and you can lay your magic down on it!! Keep us updated.
