Re: 66 step pro street build
Nice family shot, and love that rear view photo - sure makes your truck look beefy! Isn't it amazing, at times it seems there will never be an end to projects like yours, keep chipping away one little detail at a time, and one day you wake up and it's actually a functional vehicle and almost complete! Now the real work can begin because for most of us it will never be finished!
I had to go back to page one and revisit your entire build. You've made some very nice choices/decisions during the build. That engine looks like work of art. Nice truck, very impressive!

Re: 66 step pro street build
Hood is looking good, went back and looked at a few pic's again, nice family pic with the truck slipped in, pups are cool. My pup just turned 10 lately, best bud and likes cruising in the truck.

Re: 66 step pro street build
Nice job. I had to play catch up on the last two pages of work. I'm hoping to get my engine set in tonight. What did you use for mounts....and did you do any frame trimming for header clearance?

Re: 66 step pro street build
Scott's hot rods has some nice weld in motor mounts that I used, and yes I had to touch the frame a little on the driver side for the headers.Just used a grinder and clearanced the frame a little. My cow puppy is ten also, hasn't slowed a bit,and is my best friend.!!!!!

Re: 66 step pro street build
Not sure if you can see it in the pic, it was a little tight around #5 cylinder ,third from the front.

Re: 66 step pro street build
OK, thanks. Planning on getting the frame work done tonight and engine set in place. From cyl 1 & 5 on driver side and 2 and 6 on pass side seem to be the biggest issues I see with headers and the frames.

Re: 66 step pro street build
Installed Mark k hinge's and latches on the tail gate. Now get to take it back apart and put it in final paint.
Shop door,no telling how much money that cost over the last 20 years.!!!
