Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
Here's my 94 GMC Jimmy SLE I bought for $900 with a blown 4.3L. I stuffed a 0.040 over sbc 350 in there with Vortec heads and intake, swapped out the 4L60E for a 700R4. It's got a 3.42 limited slip rear, 3 inch drop in the front, 2 inch blocks in the rear. It's a SLE model, which has power everything, minus a sunroof.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
Heres mine, its a pretty much stock UK spec 4x4 01 Blazer LS, 4.3L with manual transmission. Its converted to run on either Gas (petrol) or autogas (Propane) which helps as propane is half the cost here and with gas at nearly eight dollars a US gallon it makes a big difference. Plans are in hand for some mild mods, I have a CB to go in, some big Hella spotlights to go on the front bumper and four small hella lights to go on a roofbar when I get around to making one. So far all I've done is give it a good tuneup with new plugs, leads, cap rotor, filters and oil, serivced the brakes which do need bleeding still ut all the bleed nipples are rusted to hell so I'm not looking forward to that job (will replace the nipples if I can get them out) and it needs one of the front hubs replacing as the bearing is whining like a spoilt child in a shopping mall. I also swapped the cheap and nasty off brand A/T tires for a set of General Grabber AT2's that used to live on my old 91 trooper. I'm trying to find a spare wheel for it as I don't have one and that ain't easy over here. The propane tank is where the spare used to go so a swingaway carrier from a two door would be ideal again if I could ever find one.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
Post up the interior pics, it looks cool and the first late model 4dr 5spd I've seen. I'd rock it.
Can't believe Chevrolet even took the plunge and sold the Blazers in that market, what with the super expensive fuel prices and small cars being the norm. Doesn't seem like it would sell well.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
As far as size goes my 98 Isuzu trooper was bigger than the blazer, its no bigger than most mid size 4x4's sold in the UK. Now my 67 C10 is somewhat more unusual over here! GM only sold Blazers officially here for two or three years before they pulled the plug but theres a fair few got sold, the main agent was an American car specialist called Bauer-Millet in Manchester which is handily about 45 minutes drive from me. The propane conversion is aftermarket and is playing up at the moment, I think I've got a sticking valve so I need to get it into a specialist to get it looked at. Its not the best system in the world being a single point system with a mixer ring in the inlet hose, better systems are multipoint and have six injectors plumbed directly into the intake manifold. but they are about three times the price. It has a 60L propane tank that gets me about 200 miles.
I understand that a 5 speed wasn't an option over there on a 4x4 blazer, tbh its pretty rare over here, I haven't seen another one for sale just autos. It did start its life as a demonstrator for GM hence the unusual options of LS spec and a manual. I'll get some interior pics but tbh its nothing special (apart from the steering wheel being on the other side!)

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
yup, no 4dr 5spd in 2001 for us yanks. I see 20 of these trucks a day just driving the 20 miles to work, just never in RHD!
I've already seen the interior pics in your other thread. Your truck is just so clean, people beat them badly here. |

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
Thanks for that link, I may well give them a ring, they did advertise another blazer a few months back but when I called them it turned out to be pretty much picked over with just the shell left and as it happens I could do with the headlights and tail lights as mine all have cracks in. I should be able to get a spare wheel too. They're only about 40 minutes or so away from me.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
Updated pics of the wife's ZR2. New wheels and tires bought from tirerack.
A.R. Maverick's and BFG longtrail T/A's. 700 bucks cheaper than best local price. Local tire guy said these rims won't fit. Too much offset. He's wrong. They're a mere 3/8 inch difference. Also according to him these tires aren't available in 265 75 15's. His loss. Better ride. Better looks. |

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
bros truck, picked it up couple months ago.. pretty fun.. rides a bit harsh but more than makes up for it on on/off ramps and surprising losers in m3's with their trophy wife next to them..
just needs some headers to wake it up...

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II
Hey guys, new to the forum. Just inherited my Dad's truck. 85 S15. I've been working on it. New Paint, seats, headliner, wheels, tires and a bunch of mechanical work. 120k miles. carpet and bed liner next. I'm loving this site, learning a lot about these cars.
