Re: 1950? S-10 tdi

Running boards are all ready to get installed and I started mocking up what the back end will look like. I have no idea who's license plate that is or where it came from lol.

Re: 1950? S-10 tdi

So I got a TON of work done this past week as I had holidays and was not allowed to go anywhere due to lockdown still.
Rear lights are all installed I modeled it from the original tow truck bed and the lights hooked up. The bed was painted and installed then I terminated all the connections in a trailer box above the trailer hitch.

Re: 1950? S-10 tdi

Then I finished painting the cab and fenders and flat clear coated them. Once they where dry I installed the fenders, installed the front lights and painted and bolted the bumper on.

Great work.

I wasn't too sure about the flatbed when you mentioned it a few weeks ago, but it looks so 'professional' that it looks like it could have been a 'Commercial' option for the truck. Well Done, it looks great

Wow, looks great.

The gloss grey grill is a nice contrast to the satin black, nice touch.

Well Done

Re: 1950? S-10 tdi

Got the dash all finished up went with semi gloss black stripes with the gray looks great.
Also got the front and rear glass in and doors all put together. All the seals from Steele rubber are amazing over the LMC stuff. the peel and stick door seals work great.

Re: 1950? S-10 tdi

And BOOM it is done!!
I had a safety this morning then went and got it plated. Went for a few test runs and stopped to fill it up then drove it to work. I have 30mi on it now all is good but it is making no boost. So overall success, front bumper sits at 7".
