Re: Extreme Powder Coating '65 C-10 Shop Truck

Allllright - we will admit that we are using some FORD parts on this 'lil Chevy pick-up truck...grrrr...

You're looking at a 1965 Mustang fuel tank AND (the best buy ever) 2010 Mustang Shelby GT 500 take off mufflers. EBAY score - $20.00 a pop!

I just came across the mufflers on ebay myself earlier today. Certainly a great deal. What are your thoughts (since you've seen them in person)? If I got them I would probably need to modify the inlet pipe, in your opinion is that do-able?

Thanks!

Re: Extreme Powder Coating '65 C-10 Shop Truck

Alvin, The inlet could be cut off with no problem and re-fabbed with a straight inlet. Very well built muffler.

Hey I really dig your truck .....and may buy a tire and wheel combo like your using also for my truck .

I think you should put the BIG back window in so you can turn your head and see that exhaust and suspension !

You should have made Nate use the die on the notch.

Looks awesome, this is an incredible build.

What size is that air tank?
Your exhaust is sweet, and your wheels look fantastic.
Keep up the great work.

It's not to late to cut out part of the plates in the notch and punch a few holes and weld them back in.

Do you have any pictures of how the cap was modified to be held onto the smoothies? I'd like to do that on my next project.

Re: Extreme Powder Coating '65 C-10 Shop Truck

Check out Delmo on this forum, his shop did the wheel modification. The photo I posted was from Del's shop. I should have the wheels in a couple weeks. I will then post more wheel photos.
