Re: 1965 C-10 LS build
Thanks Flip. Well the truck is leaving Saturday for the paint booth. I decided to just primer the truck for this year. I need to save some money, my daughter is going to college this fall and not sure yet how much that is going to cost. I am going to use House of Kolor KD 3000 series colored primer. Im going to try getting the color close to the same color the truck someday will be. I am going to paint the roof the Hot Rod Flatz gun smoke gray, because I allready bought that paint. So hopefully by next weekend I can start putting in back together.
While I had some extra time, my daughter cracked her catchers helmet the other day, at a scrimmage game, and not wanting to spend around $100.00 for a new one, I fiberglassed the crack and going to give it a paint job. Well as soon as I get the pictures of the paint I will get them posted. Tell then "Think Spring" and and have a great night.

Re: 1965 C-10 LS build
It must be that clean thin air in Colorado that build them like that. I'd go broke if my UPS person looked like that.

Re: 1965 C-10 LS build
Went to look at the truck today and I looks better in person. Bob got the ret of the panels painted today so Friday everything should be home ready to put back together. I will have to keep telling myself to take it slow and steady when putting it back together. For me it's easier said then done. I still need to buy a few things to completely put it back together but nothing that will hold me up right now. Here are a couple of pics:
The color is close to the door jam color. But I like the outside combo and with the doors closed you can't tell. Have a good day everyone. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 1965 C-10 LS build
I got the truck home today. It looks good back in the garage. Now it's time for the install of all the parts. I don't have any pictures now but will add some as I go. I'm going back to the garage to put the list together of what parts I have and what I need. Have a great night everyone.

Congrats on starting your reassembly!
I think that is the most fun part so far. I also have to say that your color combo came out looking smooth, nicely done !!
