Re: your dogs and your truck
Abbey, our 3 year old German Shepherd hanging out in the cab. Planning to have a hook welded behind the seat for ease of attaching her seatbelt.
(Yea, she wears a seat belt.. All three of our dogs do and we were glad they were the afternoon we flipped my Xterra at 60 with all of them on board. Everyone walked away without a scratch.) |

Re: your dogs and your truck
This is some pics of my latest, The wife has named him Macho, I like Freckles? As you can see he is right there where he can help you out or be in the way. He's 13/14 wks and is 35 lbs. Boy this one is going to be fun very, very independent and picks up any and all tools that i may have had to put on the ground. We had one that was 82 lbs @ 13 months(KING RALPH) and when he pasted he weight 81 lbs some 13 yrs later, if Freckles keeps his rate of growth up KING RALPH will be dethrowned.

I don't know about the dog portion, but this gets my vote for best engine hoist ever!

Re: your dogs and your truck
Sorry to hear, I don't know how long you had her or how old but it seams like it is not long enough when it comes to our pets, and i have this saying for a dog we relocted and then had to put down.
No farewll words were ever spoken, No time to say good-bye. You where gone before we knew it, And only GOD knows why. Last edited by desertnick69; 11-22-2014 at 04:52 PM. Reason: Spacing |

Re: your dogs and your truck
My 90lb girl Noir doesn't get in the truck (knee problems)This is the day I brought the truck home:
Oreo loves rides, need some latches for the car seat for Lily, she rode in it once as a baby, kinda freaked her out! Notice the Hello Kitty air freshener Lily gave me. The cat is a freeloader, she'll go anywhere she thinks food is involved!

Re: your dogs and your truck
I went all through this thread and I hadn't posted pics of my boys so I guess I can add them now.
First is Ringo. We got him for my kids when he was 12 weeks old. Had to put him down a little over a year ago at age 12. Next two are Roscoe. He came to live with us as a 10-month old about a year before Ringo went away. He loves going in the truck, so much I almost can't get out of the house on the weekend without him. Vet told me Ole Ringo had been living on borrowed time for about the last year of his life. The end came when he got the big C. Having Roscoe around sure made all that easier.

Re: your dogs and your truck
I had an austrailan sheppard that would jump into my truck every time i opened the door. She didnt want to go with me (she was afraid of going to the vet). I think PJ just wanted the attention,

Re: your dogs and your truck
Kind of inherited a dog a fewe months ago. Her name is Pugsley. She was a stray that was picked up by the dog catcher. I think she is a Chug {Pug, Chihuhua mix} She does not bark hardly at all and is the most loving ,fun dog I have ever seen.No pics with the truck yet I will have some one day.

Re: your dogs and your truck
Hey, this is my first post. My dog's name is Spots. She loves riding in the truck, although she might have jumped into the side of the bed once, she can get in. She is getting up there in age but still goes out to the barn, if she does not get cold. She is one of my best dogs, and we even raised her right, in a house hold. Sorry can not post a picture at this time.
