Rusted through on both sides and not worth trying to save.

Mike, I'm interested in the clutch delete. Do you have the two attaching hardware bolts/screws ? That is a metal plate correct? Not sure about them since my truck has been a stick shift since I bought it but will be going to auto. If you recall, I got the column from you at the Wichita Swap meet. Enjoyed talking to you. Let me know on the delete plate, you could just put it into a small bubble envelope and drop it in the mail. Total price to Wellington, money order okay ? Don't have a Paypal account.

Re: parting out 72 GMC LB BB

Hey Mike,

I was curious to know if you included the part circled in this photo with my package. I did not circle it on the original photos, b/c I did not realize that it is part of the A/C system, at least I think it is based on some of the other posts I have read on here.

Could you confirm if it is in fact part of the A/C system and what it is? If you did not send it and it is part of the A/C system, and you still have it, what would it take to get it to me?

Sorry about the hassle, but I am not really familiar with the A/C system.

thanks,

Darien

Truck had no gas cap when I got it. I emptied the tank and fuel didn't have water in it. There is some light surface rust inside the neck. I can get some pics if you'd like to see it better. Let me know.

Actually Mike, I got the first box of stuff yesterday, and when I checked it today, that piece was in there. But you did tell me you were sending two boxes, and I did want all of the dash heater stuff, although I am not sure what else you are referring to..

I'll check the box and see if anything is missing.

Do you know what that piece I circled in this last post is?

Yes! There is a second box bigger than the first. It went from post office because of cost/size. Everything else is in it. I have the vents if you still need them... One is vacuum operated. The piece you circled goes in the cowl panel at the base of the windshield under that panel. On the firewall side, if I'm not mistaken. It's hard to explain but I'll get you a picture of the hole in the fire wall it went through. You should have everything this truck had on it other than the vents. Please let me know if anythings missing after the second box comes and I'll look for anything else out there but you should have it all.

Re: parting out 72 GMC LB BB

Ok, sorry if i am being confusing but I was wrong - the piece that I circled was not in the box. It was another piece that looks a lot like it and I have no idea what either piece is for or where it goes.

I am attaching a photo that shows which I got and didn't get; I still have no idea what either piece does or if I even need them.

Ok, while I could be missing something, the only other things that I am still waiting on and are probably in the 2nd box is the outside heater box, the washer bottle and bracket, and the dome light. I also do need the outer heater box. I said that in my posts, but looking back at them, I can see where I might have been confusing. Is the outer heater box in the 2nd box?

It looks like one of the dash vents that sit on top of the dash cracked in shipping, but not a big deal as I can take that piece off my non-A/C cab.

Sorry for any hassle!

Thanks!

Darien

Re: parting out 72 GMC LB BB

Ok, this is my last post, I promise. I re-read your response (would have been nice if I had read it properly the first time), and I don't know what vents you are talking about that i did not get. It looks like everything I wanted for inside the cab is in this first box.

Are the vents something I might want to buy? Can you post a pic so I can see what you are talking about?

Thanks!
