Another great harness by Double E. This is the fifth and final harness and should go in this week!

Re: 72 GMC Short Step Build
Grill & Headlights back in place
Made some progress today. We flowed the replacement injectors this afternoon and they will work fine. How many of you have actually flowed and measured the output of each of your injectors? Well if you have Double E and Car Boss around you would. I forgot to take a pic of the injector tester but I'll try and get one a bit later. Double E installed the headlight harness which allowed me to install the headlight buckets, lights and trim rings. It's starting to look like it did before we started this project. Also I was wrong about the final harness. Double E still has one left to build and install. The fan harness.

New Houndstooth by Truck Seats
This has been another milestone day! First I got my seat back from the upholster this afternoon that I ordered these from Truck Seats back in early November and I think they turned out great. We're not quite ready to install it so it's taking up some space in my wife's living room. Second my 1year old grandson came to visit and I think he likes it too. I hope he and I spend lot's of time on this seat.

Re: 72 GMC Short Step Build
Here we go....time to install the F.I.R.S.T. TPI
This has really been a big day for the team. We finished installing the FIRST TPI intake. Double EE's wiring harness was spot on. This thing is truly a TPI on steroids! So what do you think?

Looks good!
Little tip for you: put a space between your picture links (image code), or hit enter after each link and your pictures will scroll down the screen instead of sideways. It would make it easier to see all of your pics. Like this:

New Brake Booster & Master Cylinder Installed
Another fun day on the build. While Car Boss worked on fabbing up a new aluminum air box, Double E was busy installing the Brake Booster and Master cylinder for the last time. We're still waiting on the brake lines but should be here this week.

Fan Harness Installed
Double E also finished up the fan harness today. These maybe a little hard to see, but that's the point.

Re: 72 GMC Short Step Build
New Classic Instruments and Cruise installed.
Some more fun today! Double E, installed the Classic Instruments gauge panel, which we've all been staring at for the past couple of months and the cruise control stock from an 89 Corvette. I like the look and think it will look fresh years from now.

Re: 72 GMC Short Step Build
Thanks Blackland. Every day seems to bring another piece of the puzzle to conclusion. It's really been fun working with my buddies who are so talented and meticulous. We're really trying to do this so that it lasts. Who knows, one day one of my grandkids just might driving Chief's old truck. But that's quite a ways down the road since I only have one and he just turned a year old.
