Sounds like mine may have a half brother in the future. When I bought mine in the 1980's it had 16.5x10 steel Kelsey-Hayes with 10.00-16.5 Goodyears on it. Big improvement since then!

Beautiful trucks. I hope someday I can restore an old camper to slide in the back of my C20.

it is a great feeling, I was lucky enough to have mine given to me from a co-worker. No restoration needed, just load and go !

Very nice trucks guys (and gals)......you're quickly changing my mind about 3/4tons, having always been a 1/2 ton guy.
All Good

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

Ironic to see this thread bumped for the first time, because I just ran across a SWEET Custom Camper today ... FOR SALE in the town I live in. I go down this road every day and I've never seen this truck before.

A 4wd 3/4 ton Super Cheyenne Custom Camper with SWEET Slot mags!

Dear lord that is a good looking truck. I may have to break originality on my K20 and go with that blue (wonder what its called) instead of the medium blue. Odds are this was not originally a cheyenne super and probably built to have the best options (towhooks, super, cab lights, etc). The grille (as mentioned) rear marker lights, and script badge positioning all indicate some things are not original. Awesome truck no doubt that I would be lucky to own. How much is he asking?

Jud, That would be the GM code 523 Dark Blue (Ditzler 2366). The earlier 508 was used on vans but is not correct for a '71-72 pickup, unless its "Special Paint".
