This is such a sweet project, very cool and creative.
It's funny as I was reading the first of the build progressing down, I thought this is a prime one for suicides...and sure enough you did it.......very nice man, my hats of to you for such superb work.
keep the updates coming.

Re: Roadster Project

Thanks Dave, I'll get some more pics tomorrow of the trans channeling going on at the moment. Also, were installing the rear tubs and making a center console and new dash.
Sik52-we did weld in the tail gate. We're gettn ready to fill in the bedrails and add a rear trunk-lid.

Re: Roadster Project

Looks nice. My gate is going to be filled similarly to yours except with the custom panel I had made to have the Chevrolet script centered in it. And mine will still open with a flip handle.

Re: Roadster Project

The passenger side was fine on the outside, but the inner was rusted in several spots. The Drivers side was caved in behind the rear wheel and also has some rust spots on the inner bedsides.

Re: Roadster Project

The pinch mold is a little different on the blazers than the trucks. The pinch on a blazer is also part of the torsion boxes which gives the blazers their extra support for their lack of roof.

Re: Roadster Project

Well, I did it on my truck but as mentioned, the blazers are different. The one thing is the white color is making it stand out where it won't nearly as bad in black....
