Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
This is pretty much off-topic, but is there a thread anywhere that lists the different rear-end widths for the different years? I've searched the forums and Google with no success. Sure would be nice to have readily available.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
I just had to get in on this thread. I can tell its going to be another 20 page thread. I'm going to try and order a set on thursday. I was trying to hold out until we could see a truck with the new wheels on. Does any one know for sure if there will be another order placed next week?

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
When I get my set I plan on running 245/40/18's on front and 295/35/18's on the rear. I would probly run about the same with the 20's aswell.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
Those will be short. I would recommend a 245-45-18 (26" tall) & 295-40-20 (29" tall).

What do you suggest on a 20x8.5 up front?

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
Both are about the same height and 295/35/18 is 26 iches tall and 245/40/18 is about 25.75 inches tall. I'm going to run 18's all the way around.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
I sure hope someone posts some pics once they get their wheels. I'm curious how the 20x10s look with an adapter in place.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
Well...got some bad news boys. The new revised fronts don't fit. Looks like it is the same issue as before, it won't seat all the way down onto the rotor, looks like it is tight at the front of the hub bore like before.
And just to sweeten the deal the rear 20x10 will require a spacer to fit. I didn't have the tires on but it looks like (judging by sight) about a 1/4 to 1/2" spacer to not rub on the inside of the fender well. Well, we are dealing with Boss here, what did we expect

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
Hey brossow,
don't get all pissy on me, I'm not blaming them for the BS, I had expected I might need a spacer on the rear, no biggie. But I am blaming them for a revised wheel that does not fit. Box said right on it 3AA. There is a picture of the label in a thread I posted this morning. I'll take some pics of the figment issue when I get home, at the tire store right now. I might get away with a little grinding on the tip of the hub.

Not trying to fight with ya, I knew the 20x10 was a toss up on fitment, I was the one over in the other Boss thread saying I will see if it fits or not. I'm not just some idiot shelling out cash thinking they will fit, I was willing to take the risk to run the 10"s in the back. The fronts on the other hand are somewhat frustrating, but I was expecting the old version when I ordered them so I am just truckin on Anyways, I'll let you guys know what I can work out on them, I have some 1/4" spacers for the rear I am going to try to see if they get me clear. And we will see how much material I am going to have to take off the front hub. I'll keep you all posted, on a good note, the tires look sweeet on the wheels!

@Leviticus
I looked at your thread and the part number on your box is for 20x10 even tho it says its for 20x8.5 on your box. I kinda find that odd....
