Ok. You can have that one if I can have the red '67. If no one claims the rest soon I'll take those, too.

to be honest i dont remember, lol Quote:
he bought the truck in 87, or 88 when me and my brother (black_sheep454) were only 2 or 3 years old. my brother and i did a frame off on it in 03, the fire wall was original, motor was painted but never taken apart, seat and door panels all original. only sheetmetal that was replaced was the right rocker panel.

Re: original (not modified) truck pics
Good point, is it that there is a bias agianst stock vehicles or is there a shortage of stock calendar worthy vehicles? Or both? IMO, whoever put that calendar together, missed the mark.

Re: original (not modified) truck pics
Every truck in that calander was submitted and voted on by the members of this site, if you didn't submit a pic of your stock truck and/or vote, then it wasn't the calander maker that 'missed the mark'. Just a FYI.

Re: original (not modified) truck pics
Never heard of this calendar, never seen this calendar and never knew who put this calendar together. Assumed the poster of this thread found this calendar at your typical bookstore this time of year. Thanks for shedding light on the subject. Now that I know the facts, it is not suprising the way it turned out. Maybe you'll agree the logo used on this site (top left corner of every page) misses the mark.

Me? I much prefer classic trucks that lean towards stock, and naturally beautiful women with beautiful "stock" parts lol. Now, this doesn't mean I don't see the beauty in the blonde or the overly modified truck, but I prefer the other. Posted via Mobile Device |

You have great taste d.l. I would like to thank those who try to preserve history also. This photo was taken about 5 or 6 years ago, but my '70 c.c. still looks the same. 350turbo, Dana 60 with leafs, medium gold metallic+white.

Found this thread by accident but I agree with Mister B's comments above. Give me stock or very slightly modified. What really irks me are all the guys now days shaving the drip rails off these trucks. Yeah I know it's their truck and they can do whatever they want with it but it just seems like these trucks have made it 50 years with the drip rails in place why cut them off now? If you don’t like the looks go buy a new vehicle without them. Anyways keep the picks coming guys. |
