Great looking drop on that. Still amazes me how fast you got everything done on that swap. Any news on the 4x4?

here's one of my blaze next to my buddy's 4wd 91 blaze

i finally tracked down the guy that got the pick-up....he's made a little progress too...here's a pic

only other progress i have made on the blaze this far is replacing the cut coils with drop spindles (thanks crossy)

Re: here's what i have been up to

no it hasn't been wet sanded or buffed........my 68 blew its tranny just as the blaze came out of paint, and we haven't been able to get together to buff it since......i don't mind though i still think it looks great, it matches the used wheels i got for it (haven't put them on yet)....shiny, but not really.......if i don't get it buffed soon it will most likely never get buffed, my last update on this project is coming soon...i deploy to egypt for a year in the begining of feb

Re: here's what i have been up to

I noticed your exhaust tips are very similar to mine. That made me happy. I hope this hasn't been mentioned before, even though I'm kinda sure it has. What kind of exhaust set-up you got?

Re: here's what i have been up to

not sure on the brand of headers (got them from a friend), then dual 2 1/2" pipes through high flow cats then flow master 40 series then over the axle turn out to the baloney tubes...does that answer your question?

Re: here's what i have been up to

Aloha! Awesome build! I have similar plans for a 77 sub I picked up, although I'll be lifting it.
Sounds like our work schedules are similar so I am inspired and impressed that you did so much in a short period of time! Your build up is my guide line for my sub project.
Big Mahalo's for the inspiration, I'm gonna get off my butt and do a little work on the sub now!

Re: here's what i have been up to

1974gmc- you can't change your registration without changing your vin, and that's not legal so we won't do that.....if i am wrong someone will chime in and correct me i'm sure.

here is the last update on this project, got new rims (thanx greenvilledave), tires, and a rear bumper.....the next project will be on the 67-72 board, but it will even harder for me to update as my 68' is going in the shop and i am going to egypt. any way here is the pics

Re: here's what i have been up to

i got some other plans in mind for it, but now i am no longer in the country and my 68 finally went in for a ground up rebuild, so it will have to wait.

thanks for all the compliments, they really kept me going

Doubt it. The engine crossmembers are rivited in on the 4wd's. It would be very tight trying to get it out...
