Looks good! I forgot all about my roof patches until I just saw those pics. Kind of reminds me of a small stream

Where is the lucky body shop, I wish I had that kind of room I might get somthing done!

I got the truck back from the body shop, the cab is looking good. I just need to get the tank and dash done to accept A/C in order to get it jammed and also have to pick out a color

Can you post a picture of the rear of the cab where the frame rails are? Looking into doing one as well. Thx if it's not too much trouble.

Kevin, when you say that you left the very bottom open for drainage what exactly do you mean? Is it open into the rocker space? Or, is it open to the inner/under aspect of the truck (so you could see the hole if you were under the truck?

Also, I've been trying to figure out how the water/debris got into that dead space. I just opened my inner panel at the bottom and scraped out about 2 inches of dirt! (My panel had rusted through at the very bottom, about 1/4" worth... perhaps thats where the dirt came from?)

Thanks for the posts/pics. It helps guys like me figure this stuff out!!!

Well, I also have a 1957 Cameo with the Napco conversion, a 69 Chevy extended cab short bed, a 72 Corvette and a 38 Chrysler Sedan. That is not including my daily drivers.

I can take a picture tomorrow, but it looks like a regular frame there. The frame has been extended and the bed shortened.

It is a long bed frame that has been lengthened and the bed cut down in front of the wheels.

I got the under the bed all cleaned up and painted, painted the rear of the frame and installed the bed again on the truck. Love the nice days to get some work done.

I tried out some 20's on the truck, they looked good just have to get the rear a lot lower.

hey rok nice work very nice work my question is what thickness of metal do you use when you you make patch panels iam a ironworker/welder but want to try to do my own rockers and patch some rusted floor boards on my 70

Wheels look great, agreed on the rear drop as well. Is the pass seat going to flip up to let the pass in and out of the back like a blazer or did I miss that
