Re: Snip snip
For the foreseeable future, yep. I have some long-term ideas, but they're not plans... and don't involve a V8

Re: Snip snip
Hey XXL,... do you have the "inline check valves that the streetrod guys use? I think they actually regulate brake line pressure. Two different ones. One for disc, and a different one for drums. Wilwood makes them. Usually they are for master cylinders that are lower than the brake calipers. (like under the floor on the frame rail) After I saw your pics of the M/C brake line routing,... I just wondered if they would help.

Re: Snip snip
I have a stock prop valve on the setup and the m/c and booster are at "stock" height, so I wouldn't expect I'd need anything like that. However... something's not right, so maybe that's the answer. Thanks.

Re: Snip snip
Just thought it might be the problem since the M/C brake lines go up over the M/C,... then down. Just a guess.

Re: Snip snip
I am not sure that it would effect the overall performance but I could see how it would be nearly impossible to bleed properly.....

Re: Snip snip
I'm using a pair of aftermarket wiper motors, wired together. They get out of synch after a few minutes but I don't drive in the rain, so nobody knows by you

Re: Snip snip
I'm thinking about ditching the wipers and welding the cowl on! If it rains I'll pull over......

Re: Snip snip
Horrific. Truly Horrific. The reason I asked is because while i was out at the weekend someone helped themselves to the door mirrors and sidemarker lenses off my '68 I left parked on the driveway....
Coincidence? I'm saying no more........................... -Andy |
