Re: Let's See Some GMC's

Here are a couple of rough pics of mine. On a side note I think the Chevy/GMC split in Canada is probably 50/50. Maybe even more GMC's for some reason. At least that is what I see when I am kicking around anyway.

PO worked at an auto parts store called Tiger Automotive. I am sure it came from there store. I don't think it is a franchise store but they do sell on ebay under tiger_automotive. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I beleive Air Raid makes one though.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

It looks like they took the air inlet from a turbo kit and used a cone fillter it could make a good ram air set up.

Both the housing and the filter say "AIRAID" no part # though.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

I had an AIRAID system on my 94 it looked a lot like yours but it had a pipe to make it go over to the fender.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

I'm almost scared to do this but I can handle the flack from my friends

On a serious note, anyone with a 67-72 body style needs to click the GMC
linky in my siggy. I, with help from Woodridge, have been working on this 4
sometime now & we are trying to gather data on US made GMC's since the
US data was lost in a fire (So the story goes) Please PM me if you wish to
not post your info publicly and Thank you in advance for all of your help

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

I don't see a problem with it...I mean, it's your truck right?
it's just the Chevrolet across the hood, the bowtie on the grill, and the bowtie's on the center caps...with GMC side emblems that puzzles me.

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

Me too, but when I get my cowl hood next year, the fender emblems
come off, and now it has other wheels, it will be almost undefined since
I also have the plain aftermarket tailgate. It will still be one at heart

Re: Let's See Some GMC's

Hello All,
Haven't seen any 73-87's, so here's my latest project.
I've been browsing the site for a while and enjoy the info. I'll be posting up some questions later on.
Plans include: 3/5 drop, rebuild rearend, exhaust, carb , the list goes on and on...
