Re: Randomhero's Build Thread.. finally!!!
Okay, 2nd part of tutorial. I've been outside cleaning the pool with the lady and goofing off.
Okay, I added a 2nd coat to level the fender and finished sanding with 80 grit paper. I always finish my bondo in 80. I then added a coat of Metal Glaze to level all of the edges and fill in the 80 grit scratches. I will now finish sanding with 180 grit until smooth and prime. I also included a shot of how much hardener I use in my filler. Since it is so hot here in the Houston area I use a ribbon from the center out. Okay, back to work. |

Re: Randomhero's Build Thread.. finally!!!
Okay here is how it looks after bodywork and a little primer. On to more dents and address some rust in the front cup. I also welded several holes around the perimeter of the wheel opening. Looked like there was wheel opening moldings there or something.

No it is going to be a little bit. Nothing too soon, adding on to the shop first and remodeling the front and doing things to get it ready. Are you going to Texas Heatwave?

Just watch out that the bill for 'services rendered' remains the same after lunch as it was before . . .....
