Already had these sitting in the shop and their gutted, which as you know means 'WAY LIGHTER' to work with along with the fact that when I was ready to hang doors, the blazer doors where buried in the snow bank.

K5 doors and truck doors have the EXACT same dimensions.
In fact, all K5 doors began life as truck doors, then modified at the factory.

Aside from that to address your concerns, the door openings in the blazer are within factory spec's.

Heh, it's not your work I had concerns about... it's the doors in the snowbank.

Pass floor patch is in but not finished yet due to time constraints of the day.
Spot welded the nines outta this install, I almost feel bad for the next guy.

In an effort to avoid having a welded seam in a tough to get at area, I decided to go around the 'pre-shaped' floor area.

Everything got sprayed with weldable primer prior to the final install.

Friday should produce finished floor and rocker areas.

K5 DOORS:

Knew there was another reason I hadn't used the K5 doors that came with the tub but didn't remember until I went out and looked at em again.

Drivers door has the imfamous 'shoulder check' opening method dent.

Fairly bad, not only bent but it also has a tear.

Those pics are showing both of the blue doors, the third door is usable I believe.

What kinda spot welder do you have, I've only seen the one with arms, and they may not reach what I want to do

Clever solution to that problem area, woulda bin tough to do it the other way

Pics of the rest of the sheet metal I picked up from you:

*White passengers door is not good either, you can see the bow it has and those holes in the bottom of the door are there because someone once pushed out a dent in the lower portion.
That area of the door is full of bondo too.
Lastly, that inner corner showing rust will for the most part disappear when sand blasted, I'd bet.

*Of the tailgates, only the Ochra one will be worth trying to use.

See the area where the bondo is coming through the holes?
Another previous repair, that whole area is still full of bumps and ripples.

Your choice but IMO, you'll be money ahead using a set of repro fenders.

How tough would it be to cut a set of truck doors down? I have a nice set here. I also have a decent radiator support and hood. Inner fenders can be repops and wait.

I don't care about the lower cups on the fenders, they will be cut off to clear the winch bumper.

Nice work, is this one done VT? How much gap are you left with between the rocker and the forward lower rear quarterpanel. Jon was asking me this, and I didn't know. I just usually center the rocker on the door. Thanks for the pics, it looks sweet
