Re: project (sweet pea)
thanks guys...I DONT want to sound cocky or Anything.........But these Pictures do this color no justice at all......It Pops like CRAZY on the sunlight..and you can really see all the pearl that was added......I just went out side to look at it..And its fully cured...So i am going to start sanding on it tonight, and re clear it tomorrow after work.......The wife thinks i am crazy as do a few friends but once it has another 2 coats of clear on it they will see why..........................
Edit:....Special thanks to C-10 Driver(geoff) ..For the paint formula.... we did add quite alot of pearl and enhancer >but none the less his truck gave me the (green idea)...... Last edited by bad6772; 06-02-2008 at 05:35 PM. |

Re: project (sweet pea)
Looks great!!
Can you show a shot of the inside of the cab jam where you added the 1/4 rod? I'm curious how the rod blends in with the jam. The door gap on mine is too wide (for my taste) and I'm on the fence about adding to the door or cab. |

Re: project (sweet pea)
Sure i will get some pics after work.....Its really easy to do......It will require some mudd work or another rod....Mine is not finished yet but i will get pics of where it currently sets....I am waiting to fit my gaps until the cab is back on the frame........just in case......

Re: project (sweet pea)
Your post # 124 sorta shows your insecurity of your paint work...where did you find the SIX FOOT TURD to put in the shots ?
Can't wait to see that in person , but I guess I will have to leave Patty at home , can you say scratch? |

Great work on the chasis and body. I'm still workinh on my chasis. I'm almost ready for my brake, tranny, and gas lines. Is there a "kit" already for our style truck? Thanks.

Re: project (sweet pea)
This build rocks. I am terrified of starting body work but you seem to have motivated me. The green you picked is bad ass. Keep up the progress your doing some cool stuff!
