Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Sorry Dennis, I was incorrect. When I pulled the engine back out to clean and paint the frame as well as drill the last hole for the lower mounting of the engine stand the hole was already there and lined up perfectly.

Either that or they're both in the wrong place???? Pretty sure it's close enough though.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
i think we are good. hows yours sitting? nice and level?
did you get your fuel system parts yet? i just ordered everything on Bob's list from summit just now. the quick disconnect at the motor is back ordered til 2-19. only thing i need now is the high psi hose... been looking for part #'s on the hoses in Bob's thread but i havent had any luck. ive read that dang thread atleast 6-7 times now!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Mines not in right now until I get the frame cleaned up more and painted. I have my 87 tanks, senders, pumps, F.I. high PSI clamps, high psi. switching valve. etc. Just need the hose. I am thinking about running metal line with hose just on the ends but havent decided yet.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Finally made some progress worth reporting today. Got the frame cleaned and painted and the engine/trans in for the final time. Actually looks really good in there. Damn cold outside but worth the effort. Man I cant wait to get my harness and ECU back.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Thanks for all the kind words fellas. Dennis, the manifolds fit just like Glocks. Just a very slight notch on the pass. side is all thats needed. Over all the fit is perfect. Getting very excited.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
So you're not going to run the truck manifolds? I guess I'd rather have the headers as well but may do that later as money permits. I'm just glad to have it in the frame for good now. I wont complain either way.
