Re: Guilty Customs teams up with WellBilt Kustoms to build a 67 C20
I have some of the mock up pic's of the 55 dash already but will post after completed. Jimmy is doing super job on my truck. We've gotten some new "toys" ordered too which will be arriving in the next couple weeks that will change the total appearance of this build too....

Re: Guilty Customs teams up with WellBilt Kustoms to build a 67 C20
Here is Jimmy doing initial mock up for 55 dash. Had to split the dash in half in order to accommodate width of cab. Will extend the dash features onto the door panels....

Re: Guilty Customs teams up with WellBilt Kustoms to build a 67 C20
How many hours does it take to do this mod? Also, do you have any idea how much engine clearance you gain by doing it this way? I'm thinking of moving my big block back a bit and want to see if this is enough or if I would have to go back even further to make it handle better.

Came up with some names for the truck. Here are some of them: El Desvio (the detour), SoCal Diversion. i'm leaning towards El Desvio....how about you guys...

Re: Guilty Customs teams up with WellBilt Kustoms to build a 67 C20
yep, the drip rails were cut off at inside line, then tack welded (with proper spacing to avoid overheating) then filled in and ground down. Rear seam cab line was welded and ground also....Jimmy did super work on this part...you cannot even tell the line was there....

Re: Guilty Customs teams up with WellBilt Kustoms to build a 67 C20
Here is few renderings we're working through at present. Some we like, others we don't. As you can see, we've upgraded the wheels to smoothies. 20" wheels on all 4 corners.

Of those choices, I think the first one is my pick, it just seems to flow better than the others. Just my .02

Wheels are being made now by Billet Specialties. Kind of cool to see them being made.

I am kind of liking the 4th one myself. I actually like the original plan quite a bit. I would drive them all though!
