My truck has POL tubular motor mounts on it that move the motor forward slightly.

Re: 1972 Black Cheyenne Super Big Block - JWall
Yes they give you a nice gain in space.
Since I haven't pulled a valve cover off of it, I cant say for sure but I'd say it'll be tight pulling them off because of the brake booster but I think it can be done. |

Bad Ride. Hey, do u remember the tire size on ur old blue 72??? I'm going for that look. I'm actually trying to find someone with truck rally's. Mine has vette rally's. I want to swap. Also, we're ur wheels all 8" or 8" up front and 10" out back??

Re: 1972 Black Cheyenne Super Big Block - JWall
FYI V-8 engines sit further back in the frame on 4-wheel drives than 2-wheel drives, roughly 2-3 inches. Hense the major valve cover clearance issues.

Thanks guys.
I should have some updates the week after Christmas. I have ordered all new carpet, gas tank carpet, & kick panels. I also believe I will have some more engine accessories to put on after Christmas also. Posted via Mobile Device |

What no illuminated wreaths in the grill pics?
Hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hope to see that truck in 2012!

Re: 1972 Black Cheyenne Super Big Block - JWall
Very nice! It's the little details that take a truck from nice to SHOW quality sometimes. And not everyone will notice the changes...but when you see the pictures you can just tell the truck looks nicer
