Re: We ride on 22's

They are gm transit wheels. Up front is stock except for cpp modular drop spindles and discs and cupped lowers. Rear is wishbone 3link and step notches. Rear will lay frame but I have it to where it sits level when aired out until I Z it or hit the lotto and get dropmember. Ill post a pic that's at ride height. I cant ride too low bc of the factory crossmember and hood hinges rub on big bumps.

Wow beautiful truck, love the steelies on it. Mine was the same color stock but instead of the white roof mine is white under the trim on the bottom of the truck. I prefer yours.

The one at the gas station is mine. It lays frame. Z'd in the front. 4-link custom rear with a 12" c-notch. Build thread and videos in my sig. Has been changed to a 67 look with 6.0 LSx and 6 speed manual.

Re: We ride on 22's

Does anyone have any any pictures or experience about putting a 68 Stepside on 22 by 8.5 in front and 24 by 10s in rear? I'm looking to do a 4/6 drop with a c notch and an adjustable track bar in back. I'm just wondering whay offset I might need and also if they'll fit without having to cheek the bed sides up and also about running stock front inner fenders without any problems. Thanks in advance

Re: We ride on 22's

My '72 on 22x8.5s & 22x10s, 265/35/22 and 285/35/22s on rear. Have been contemplating air ride for over a month now. More I think about it, the more I am thinking that I am going to maybe go static and go lower that way?? A 2.5" spindle in front will get me just tucking the tire and need about 3-3.5" more to tuck the rear. Wish it was lower other than that, I love the look with the 22's. Sorry...Raceline Phat Bullet 280's.
